They will be on our beaches, Boardwalks, docks, restaurants, and shops during the next eight weeks. This is when we can do a national advertising campaign in our own backyard!. Please display a sign in front of your home or business. Please carry a few “Stop Offshore Wind Turbines” postcards and give them to friends you visit, and businesses you patronize. Or come to any Saturday breakfast at Banquet Room of Sal’s Coal Fired Pizza at 501 New Road Somers Point, NJ between 9:30 and 10:30am.

We are also looking for anyone over 14 years old who want to help us hand out signs and postcards from a table on the Ocean City Boardwalk. We can also pay for meals and expenses for volunteers who hand out these post cards on the beach or Boardwalk anywhere from Seaside Heights to Cape May. Or at any public hearings or other events related to Ocean Wind Turbines.
Attend the in-person public hearings. Take part in the online hearings. Take part in events sponsored by groups like Save Jersey Shore, Protect Our CoastNJ, Defend Brigantine Beach, or SaveLBI.org. Because of inflation, both Atlantic Shore and Orsted need additional funds to start their projects. Their lobbyists are now asking federal and state lawmakers for more tax money or new laws to guarantee them even bigger future electric rate increases. Republicans in Congress and State Legislature already oppose this. And for the first time, many leading Democrat lawmakers are now privately also expressing doubts about the project. President Biden and NJ Governor Murphy are putting lots of pressure on these Democrats to go along. These Democrat lawmakers need to hear from voters who live in their districts. Help us reach them!
