STAKEHOLDERS HAVE THEIR SAY; WILL THE BOARD OF EDUCATION LISTEN?

OCEAN CITY, New Jersey—A survey conducted by the OCNJ School Discussion closed today with 74 respondents representing a broad cross section of OCNJ stakeholders. The results of the survey are attached and will be shared with members of the board of education.

The scores corresponded to the following:
1: Strongly agree
2: Agree
3: Neither agree nor disagree
4: Disagree
5: Strongly disagree

The OCNJ School Discussion, with 964 members, is an information sharing hub and a facilitator of discussions relevant to the Ocean City School District. The platform may be found on Facebook and is open to all stakeholders.

The just concluded survey was conducted after the school board voted for a superintendent search process that will not include public input, and excluded several members of the board who wanted to participate fully.
