Podcast: Play in new window
Latest episode of Seth Grossman on WPG Radio, May 31, 2025.
It’s been five years since George Floyd died. It’s been five years since Black Lives Matter gave us a summer of riots, looting and destruction.
When I was in New York last week, the New York Times and mainstream media was reporting on the legacy of George Floyd.
However, most Black Americans are as fed up as most white Americans with the uncontrolled, barbaric, violent and annoying behavior of Blacks who behave like George Floyd.
Yes, the death of George Floyd was a tragedy. But George Floyd, and nobody else, was responsible for his death. George Floyd was caught using a $20 counterfeit bill. All he had to do was give back the merchandise. But he didn’t do that, even when a police officer asked him to. George Floyd defied that officer, and it took four officers to arrest him. I’m sorry, we cannot tolerate that behavior in a civilized society. George Floyd was asked to sit in a patrol car, but he violently pushed his way out.
Nobody has the right to do that. When you are arrested, you must submit to the officer. If the officer is wrong, you make your case in court to a judge with a lawyer. You cannot use an arrest to start negotiations. You cannot argue with the cop, fight with the cop, resist the cop or run away from the cop. If you do, you might get hurt or killed, and you deserve it. We don’t have enough money to pay for enough cops to have a confrontation like that with everyone they arrest. I’m sorry.
A lot of Black Americans also see it that way. That’s why hashtags like #blackfatigue, #negrofatigue and #ghettofatigue are going viral. I invite you to search those hashtags on Facebook, X, Twitter, Instagram or other social media. You’ll find dozens of videos and articles from young Black men saying they are fed up with these ghetto thugs. Here is one of the most viral:
Thomas Sowell wrote a book about this 20 years ago called Black Rednecks and White Liberals. We posted all this stuff on our website. Here’s the link:

The Primary Election for NJ Governor is going on right now. You can vote by mail-in ballot now. Early voting starts next week. The last Election Day is Tuesday, June 10. There are four main Republican candidates and six main Democrats.
One Democrat candidate is Congressman Mike Sherrill. She is a woke, radical left Democrat. However, she served in the military so she is falsely presenting herself as a moderate. Another is Sean Spiller. He is the head of the NJEA Teachers Union. He gets paid $400,000 a year to do that.
Few Republicans know much about these Democrats because we don’t watch the TV stations they run their ads on. But both of these are promising to crack down on what they call “predatory landlords”. Yes, we have high rents in New Jersey. But it’s dangerous and dishonest to blame landlords. We have high rents and a shortage of housing because of “woke” Democrats. Their unions are what give us high property taxes. Their woke laws make it expensive to get permits to build and fix anything. Their woke laws make it expensive to evict bad tenants who destroy property, harass neighbors and don’t pay their rent.
