JOHN DEMASI: Talk for the purposes of the show, Saturdays, nine till noon, WPG Talk Radio 95.5FM and 1450AM. We bring in the one and only Seth Grossman, Liberty and Prosperity, his website, libertyandprosperity.com. He has plenty to say about everything. Seth, good morning.
SETH GROSSMAN: Thank you. Yes. I do. And a lot of the topics that we talk about, you may not see them on the homepage of the libertyandprosperity.com website because we have so much stuff we put on there, it doesn’t fit on the Homepage. But we have a very good Search Bar. So if you type key words on what you’re looking for in that Search Bar, we have hundreds of posts and I’m sure that you’ll find something about what we’re talking about today. And to get our free email update, please sign up to the website. If you have trouble signing up through the website, just email us at info@libertyandprosperity.com and we’ll put you on by hand.
And we meet every Saturday morning for breakfast from 09:30 to 10:30, at Sal’s Coal Fired Pizza, 501 New Road in Somers Point, right by Groveland Avenue. And anyone with a good faith interest in American Liberty is welcome to come. Just order and pay for your own breakfast and tip your server.
And the discussions we have there are like what you hear on talk radio. It’s like what you used to hear on Rush Limbaugh, and what Mark Levin talks about. One of the most amazing things of this whole document thing with Obama orchestrating the Russia hoax is that we knew 95% of this stuff just from critical thinking. Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh and all of us at Liberty and Prosperity knew what was happening just by reading what was out there in a public and doing critical thinking and analyzing and talking about it. You don’t need an inside smoking gun, to learn stuff. And, you know, you can hear what people say. You could hear what people said yesterday, why they’re not saying stuff today that they said yesterday. You ask certain people didn’t say certain things until they met with other people. It’s amazing just by a group of people talking things out how you can learn so much information again without having the inside information. The document that Tulsi Gabbard came out with really confirmed what all of us already knew, but what all of us were talking about this back in 2016 and 2017.
So there’s really no substitute for these open discussions that you have on Talk Radio and through what we do at Liberty and Prosperity.
JOHN DEMASI: And you do it well, by the way.
SETH GROSSMAN: Thank you. And by the way, I was, chastised a little bit last week. As you know, because I’m yakking with you on the radio, I don’t show up on time for the Liberty and Prosperity breakfasts. So the the so the discussion is led by Brian Fitzherbert, our Zoomer Millennial president. He leads the discussion for the first twenty minutes to half hour before I get there. And we have a nice little generation gap, to see how the Boomers and Zoomers see things and with a few millennials thrown in. It’s So it’s a great mix. So we don’texpect you to come every Saturday morning. But if you come once every month or two, it’s amazing how interesting and productive you’ll find it and how much you learn. Check libertyandprosperity.com.
Meanwhile, last Thursday, Craig Callaway was in the news. Judge Renee Bumb, threw the book at Callaway, gave him the maximum sentence she could possibly give of two years in federal prison. And I don’t know if you notice this, but, but, judge Renee Bumb, the judge who says and I’m not making this up. Her name is really Bumb, B-U-M-B. She’s the chief judge of the Federal District Court in New Jersey. She supervises, I guess you have a dozen judges. She supervises all of them. She’s the lead judge appointed by George Bush in 2006. She absolutely hates Trump. And she’s the judge who ordered the immediate removal of Alina Haba as acting US attorney, for New Jersey. So I don’t know if you followed that.
JOHN DEMASI: Yeah, I did.
SETH GROSSMAN: So Craig Callaway is sort of like a minor offender down here in in South Jersey. So why would the Chief Judge of the whole court system personally sentence, Craig Callaway and throw the book at him?
And I think I have a good idea because. In my opinion, the real crime that Craig Callaway was guilty of is being a black guy using the tactics that Democrats do to get the vote out in every single election, except he did it for Republicans. And, yeah, the actual charge is of the 851 ballots, the messenger ballots that Craig Callaway handled, four of them were claimed to be fraudulent. And what was the evidence they were fraudulent? Well, the four voters said they didn’t remember signing the papers. So you’ll ask yourself, well what the papers show? Were there forged signatures on the papers? And, oh, they don’t have the paperwork because the, investigators allowed those ballots to be voted and destroyed in the ordinary course. So, all we have is the testimony of the, of the four people who filled out the ballots. And you wonder, when they said we didn’t remember filling out those four ballots out of 851, was that because, Craig Callaway actually did any fraud, or was it because they’re afraid of Marty Small, and didn’t want people to know that they were working with, Craig Callaway? So who knows?
JOHN DEMASI: You know, I I really have a problem with with Callaway. I I really do. And I know. I know. You know, I I and I know that you’ve said he’s, you know, he’s above board with a lot of things, but I I got a problem with it. I I I think I I just I think he’s a he’s a criminal. That’s just that’s all I can do. You know?
SETH GROSSMAN: Well, it is whatever it is, you know, but in the political terms, when it comes to getting these ballots and I’ve handled ballots, and anyone who’s been in the election knows that, you know, the rules say that when a messenger is supposed to deliver the ballot directly to the county clerk or to the drop box. But every now and then, someone messes up or they don’t do what they said they’re gonna do, and and and the the messenger will will, like, give the ballot to me, the candidate. And that puts you in a dilemma because on the one hand, if you deliver the ballot, you’re breaking the rule, you’re breaking the law. But if you don’t deliver the ballot, then you’re disenfranchising a voter. But I just wanna make a list of what it took to get proof of four fraudulent ballots or alleged fraudulent ballots out of the 851. The US attorney actually publicly thanked all the people who did the investigation, which involved three weeks of video surveillance, including surveillance by drones, and thirteen months of, investigators knocking on doors going to all the 851 people who filled out the ballots. So you you had the FBI under special agent, Dennehy. You had the FBI’s Atlantic City Resident Agency, Corruption Task Force, the Atlanta County Prosecutor’s Office, William Reynolds, the Atlantic City Police Department, the New Jersey State Police Department under Colonel Patrick Callahan, special agents of the US Department of Labor, office of Inspector General of the Northeast Region under the direction of special agent Jonathan Malone, Department of Agriculture, office of Inspector General under special agent Beth Ann Dinkins, and inspectors of the US Postal Inspection Service under the direction of Christopher Nielsen. So those are all the federal agents, state and local agents working for thirteen months with three weeks of video surveillance to find out that four people said, no. We don’t remember filling out a ballot for Craig Callaway. So he’s going to prison for, two, two years. But, I wonder if because of, you know, going overboard like that and by having the chief judge who, who removed Elena Haber, that maybe this will come to Trump’s attention and maybe he’ll pardon him. We’ll see if that if it turns out that way. Well, well, I I know he’s hoping that happens. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Meanwhile, the the back to, local matters, Atlantic County Atlantic City’s Housing Authority, Harry Hurley, did a whole interview, I guess, on Tuesday with Matt Doherty, the former director of it. And as you know, thanks to congressman Jeff Van Drew, the federal government, the Trump administration is taking over the Atlantic City Housing Authority. And, you know, all these awful things, you know, the building at Stanley Home Village in deplorable conditions, you had one consultant was paid $856,000 One attorney got $963,000 You had $7,400,000 no bid contracts. And, you know, a lot of people are joining the conclusion, well, thank God, you know, the feds are stepping in and Atlantic City can govern itself. But, remember, this is just a a band aid. And as far as Atlantic City governing itself, it’s important to remember that Atlantic City has been under state control since 2011. So for the past fourteen years, it was Chris Christie or Governor Murphy running Atlantic City. But but the real problem here, is, you know, this whole idea of public housing. When you have the government run housing, it’s almost like the government running a supermarket. You know, you have to ask yourself, well, why would you want the government to run a supermarket? And if you say, well, it’s because prices are too high, you can’t afford it. Well, then there’s something wrong with what the why the government is forcing the supermarkets to be too expensive. And in Atlantic City, we we know why these supermarkets were too expensive because, there was no enforcement of the law for shoplifting, and theft and vandalism. And, you know, the the stores you know, food stores only deal with a, a 2% margin profit margin. So if they’re losing all this money from theft, they’re gonna charge high prices or they’ll go out of business. Well, it’s the same way with housing. Normally, people should be able to afford a house. And when you and I were growing up, anyone could afford a house for 25% of your income. So if suddenly housing becomes too expensive, and most people can’t afford housing, it’s not that the solution is to have a government housing just like you have a government supermarket. You have to say, well, what’s wrong out there? What’s government doing? And then you find out that housing is too expensive because real estate taxes are too high. Zoning laws and permit laws are messed up and make it expensive to build or fix anything. And the laws, that, the Democrats have, put statewide make it impossible to, to evict bad tenants. It takes forever and very expensive. And and now you will say, well, don’t put a bad tenant in to begin with. Now if if you want to go into the criminal background of of applicants, you can get sued if you don’t do that the right way. You need a whole, elaborate procedure on on how you even get a criminal background check on prospective tenants. So all that stuff drives up the cost. And and then when you have the government running housing, just like the government running a supermarket or the government running motor vehicles, you have something that they call, political economy. And it works like this, that if somebody wants to steal money from the government, someone steals a million dollars from the government, they make a million dollars and they’re rich. But what if a citizen wants to stand up and stop somebody from stealing a million dollars from the government? What benefit does a citizen get by keeping the government honest? And the answer is, well, if you live in a town that has 600,000 people, let’s say, and you save $600,000 what’s the benefit? Well, a citizen only gets to save a dollar. So who’s gonna break their neck to keep the government honest if you only benefit $1 by keeping the government honest, but someone who steals $600,000 gets $600,000 So, you know, the theory that Wilfredo Pareto came up with in 1906 was anything the government does is going to be wasteful and corrupt. So, have the government do as little as possible. And and that’s what our founding fathers had in mind. That’s why we have a constitution. And that’s why the government is supposed to be limited to just doing certain things that ordinary people can’t do for themselves. But once we got the idea that, well, I want the government to do something for me, because someone else is gonna end up paying for it. Once you get into that mentality, you get what you get New Jersey. That’s what you get. And, nobody could afford anything. And and we have to instead of just saying, you know, oh, there’s this this theft, waste, fraud, and government. Let’s get rid of those people. You get rid of those people, and the new people come who come in do the same thing. So if you wanna get off this, you know, out of this revolving door, you have to go back to basics and say, let’s just have the government do things people can’t do for themselves, and that that’s really the only long range solution. Boy, you said it there. Okay. But meanwhile, the war in Gaza, is is really, coming back to Trump again. The big story on the insiders, in politics is that Trump and Republicans are losing the support of generation z and, you know, the younger people, people under the age of 35. And a lot of that lost support is from Epstein, but they’re saying that the biggest loss of support is because the country, the younger people, are turning against Israel and turning against Jews, and that they see Trump is too pro Jewish and too, pro Israel. And, and really, it means the young people, are really becoming more and more anti Semitic. And it’s easy to understand that, because the war in Gaza, most of that war is not being fought in Gaza. It’s being fought in our TV screens here in America. And Israel and America are getting plobbered. If, well, before you even got to to what our TV is doing, for the past two weeks, if you were under the age of 35 and got your news from Instagram and TikTok and YouTube, all you saw was images of starving children in Gaza. And if you watched, ABC News last night, that’s now mainstream. You just saw this whole story about children starving in Gaza. And and why is that going on? Because it’s not just Gaza. It’s not just Palestinians. There’s a certain sect of Islam. The Arabs call it Salafi or Wahhabi. The, in India, they call it the Diovan. And according to these, this interpretation of Islam, the whole world, not just Israel, must comply with Islamic law, which they call Sharia. Women must be covered and subjugated. No pork is allowed. Nobody can criticize or joke about Islam, and Islam would dominate the whole world. And how do you get to that point? Through jihad. And jihad is total war by all means necessary. And jihad means, this this is the most important thing in your life. So whatever failure you are, whatever sinner you are, if you die in jihad, you are immediately forgiven of all sins and spend eternity in paradise. And if you’re a child and you starve to death or or or you’re killed because your dad is shooting, you know, grenades and rockets out of your house, you’re also guaranteed eternal life in paradise. So that’s why this jihad is now deliberately starving its own people to create these horrible TV images. Just like in Japan, the kamikazes, committed suicide, to kill Americans back then. And, Israel is trying to get food in. Hamas is shooting people trying to get food because they deliberately want these images of people starving. And United Nations, is is siding with Hamas. They only willing to give the food to Hamas because if Hamas distributes the food, they only give food to the people who support Hamas, and everybody else starves. But but, of course, the everybody else doesn’t get on TV. So it’s a horrible situation, and, and Israel and America and and those of us who see what’s going on are just not getting the word out. Anyway, Brian Fitzherbert is leading the discussion at libertyandprosperity.com, Saturday morning. They’ll end up joining it, of course, upon Sunday, coming next Saturday. And, thank you very much on behalf of Liberty and Prosperity. Thank you, Seth. Seth Grossman. Seth Grossman, Liberty and Prosperity. The website libertyandprosperity.com. And of course, his discussions every Saturday right here on the program
