During the past month, mainstream TV networks and online news sources have shown nonstop videos of scenes that are disturbing many Americans. Heavily armed ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents are arresting men and women said to be illegal immigrants. Children are often present. The agents are shown often using profanity and excessive force. Some are pointing guns. These arrests are taking place in Democrat run cities like Chicago and Las Vegas. Many of those arrested appear to be sympathetic. They do not look like criminals. Many seem to have jobs, are supporting families and have applications for legal status pending. Many were disqualified for old, minor violations.
These non-stop videos are causing Trump and all Republicans in America to lose political support. They are hurting Jack Ciattarelli in New Jersey.
Ugly videos are also coming out of Gaza. Their are daily images of Israeli soldiers forcing thousands of civilians out of their neighborhood and blowing up hundreds of apartment buildings. They see images of Palestinian children who have been killed and injured. They hear reports of dozens of Palestinians killed each day.
These non-stop videos and news reports are causing most Americans and people around the world to support Arabs, hate Israel and hate Jews. They have left Trump as the only political leader in the world who still openly supports Israel. Now even he is demanding a quick end to the war–even it Hamas remains in effective control of Gaza.
America cannot survive as a country if we fail to enforce our immigration laws. Israel cannot survive as a country if it cannot defeat Hamas. Our enemies know that. That’s why they are fighting a psychological war to stop America from enforcing immigration laws. They are fighting a psychological war to stop Israel from defeating Hamas. They seem to be winning.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS A CANCER DESTROYING AMERICA
There are eight billion people in the world. Roughly one third live in poverty. That is because they live in countries that do not encourage and protect people who produce wealth. Their cultures and values to not respect the “unalienable rights” of individuals. Their laws and governments do not protect individuals who create, save, and invest. If all the poor people in these countries moved to America, they would bring their culture and values that created the poverty, violence and misery in their own countries. They would not live the American dream. They would only destroy the American Dream in America. That is why America put limits on immigration since 1920.
However, since 1965, America slowly ended those limits. In 1965, Democrats Lyndon Johnson and Ted Kennedy increased legal immigration by 400%. They gave preference to immigrants from countries in Asia and Africa that did not share our culture or values. During the 1970s, Democrat Jimmy Carter increased legal immigration from Haiti, Mexico and Central America, He also tolerated massive illegal immigration on top of the big increases in legal immigration. , In 1986, Republican President Reagan and a Democratic Congress gave amnesty to millions of illegals. Illegal immigration was then normalized by Republican President Bush and Democratic Presidents Obama and Biden. Trump failed to deport those illegals during his first term. As a result, we now have roughly 20 million to 40 million foreigners living illegally in the United States. Roughly 600,000 live in New Jersey.
That is why we have now have hunger, crime, and housing shortages that never before existed in America–even during the Great Depression. The only way to save America is to enforce our immigration laws. We cannot do that without deporting millions of people who are already here illegally. Trump proved that during his first term. Trump tried to build walls and stop illegals from crossing our border. However, he deported very few illegals who were already here. The result was that illegal immigration continued, although at a slightly slower pace.
During the past nine months, Trump proved that aggressive deportations do protecting our border. When illegals are deported, they stop paying the cartels who brought them here. When the cartels don’t get paid, they stop bringing illegals. Illegal immigration is now almost non-existent for the first time since the 1950s. Trump’s deportations have been a spectacular success.
However, most voters don’t see it that way. Trump is losing the propaganda war. If that does not change, Republicans will keep losing elections, Democrats will soon be back in control. Then we will go right back to open borders. This is why Mikie Shirrell, the Democratic candidate for Governor in New Jersey, has so much support. Republican Jack Ciattarelli is a much better candidate. Most voters agree with him on most issues. However, many voters who oppose Trump’s aggressive deportations will vote for Democrat Mikie Shirrell anyway.
What can we do? First, we need to remind everyone we know that illegal immigration kills a country the way cancer kills a person. Cancer can be cured with very minor surgery in its early stages. However, when it goes untreated, it spreads. Then, it can only be cured by dangerous, painful, life-threatening surgery, drugs or radiation. Deportations are difficult and painful now because we refused to systematically deport illegal immigrants since the 1990s. Once immigration enforcement becomes normal, we will no longer see these ugly videos. However, that will take several years. Republicans need to start winning elections before then.
We need President Trump and his top officials to use their media access to explain this. We need to train ICE agents to show courtesy and respect when they make their arrests. They need to explain why these arrests are necessary.
Supporters like us can talk about this on talk radio and Liberty and Prosperity meetings, but it is not enough. We need our leaders to do more.
HAMAS IS A CANCER DESTROYING ISRAEL
Hamas is not fighting to end an “occupation”. It does not want an independent Palestinian state. It wants to destroy Israel as a Jewish state. The Hamas charter calls itself a “wing” of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is a part of the same Wahhabi/Salafi movement as the Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is part of the same movement that wants to destroy India as a Hindu country and make that nation Muslim. It has already attacked, beaten and murdered thousands of Hindus in Kashmir, Bangladesh and India. It wants Africa to be Muslim. It has already murdered hundreds of thousands of Christians there. It wants to make Europe, Australia, America and Canada Muslim through mass migration.
For years, Israel ignored the danger of Hamas. Israel is a small country. It is roughly the same size as New Jersey. It is also a democracy. Many of its politicians are just as bad as those. Imagine Governor Murphy running an army and navy.
For years, politicians in Israel ignored Hamas for the same reasons politicians in New Jersey didn’t care about illegal immigrants. They only cared about winning the next election. Taking strong measures to solve difficult problems does not win elections.
In 2006, Israel forced roughly all 8,000 Jews living in the Gaza strip to leave. It then built a wall around Gaza and allowed Hamas to have total control. Israel’s politicians assumed that Hamas would spend the billions of dollars of aid it got from Europe and America to build a prosperous, independent country. They thought Hamas would make Gaza another Hong Kong or Singapore. For years, 18,000 Arabs from Gaza worked in high paying construction jobs in Israel.
However, Hamas used all that money to prepare for jihad, or total holy war against Israel. It encouraged its followers to have many wives and children. All of them were supported by free food and supplies from Europe and America. By 2023, Hamas had doubled the population. Half of the people in Gaza were under 18. All of those children were taught in United Nations funded schools that Jews were evil and that they had the right and duty to destroy Israel. They and their parents were taught that the most important achievement in their lives was to die in a holy war against the Jews in Israel.

For 17 years, Hamas dug hundreds of miles of tunnels. They connected almost every house, school and hospital in Gaza to underground military bases and storage areas for weapons and ammunition. It imported, manufactured, and distributed thousands of automatic rifles, grenade launchers and rockets. It also made powerful explosive devices and booby traps. It taught children how to plant and detonate them.

Hamas had total control over everyone in Gaza. It ran the government, the schools, the hospitals. It controlled all of the billions of dollars of aid that came from Europe and America. It gave high paying jobs to its supporters. It arrested, tortured, and murdered anyone who spoke against them.
From time to time, Hamas would attack Israel and kill a few soldiers. Israel would then retaliate and kill and capture a few Hamas gunmen. Israel called this “mowing the lawn”. Israel thought it was controlling Hamas, when Hamas was in fact testing Israel.
Hamas would also shoot deadly rockets at Israel from time to time. Israel responded by building radar stations and sirens to warn of attacks. It told Jews living near the border to built “safe rooms” and hide in them during rocket attacks. Hamas built and stored thousands of rockets.
In 2006, Hamas invaded Israel and captured one Israeli soldier named Gilad Shalit. Five years later, Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to release 1,037 Palestine prisoners in Israeli jails. About 450 were “heavyweight” terrorists who had murdered about 637 Jews. They included Yahya Sinwar who later masterminded the October 7, 2023 massacre of 1,300 Jews in Israel.
Israel was completely unprepared when Hamas attacked on October 7, 2023. Its politicians and top military leaders completely ignored reports of young female observers at the border. Those observers reported that large numbers of young men with weapons in Gaza were holding drills close to the border fence. Israeli army commanders disregarded their reports. They instead believed intercepted phone calls from high-ranking Hamas and Egyptian officials claiming they had given up on war and wanted peace with Israel.
On October 7, 2023. Hamas Some 6,000 Hamas gunmen broke through the fence and attacked Israel along a ten mile front. Most Israeli soldiers and guards were off duty for the Sabbath and the Sukkoth Bible harvest festivel. Those gunmen murdered 1,250 Jews and kidnapped 250 others. Most were in the “safe-rooms” in their homes or at a music festival.
Hamas deliberately committed atrocities so Israel would be forced to retaliate and attack them in Gaza. They waited for Israel to attack them in their booby trapped houses and tunnels, surrounded by women and children. Hamas had sophisticated TV monitors to watch the movements of Israeli soldiers. They had well trained snipers with telescopic sites. Their plan was to kill thousands of Israeli soldiers, while forcing Israel to kill hundreds of their women and children.
At first, Hamas was successful. Hundreds of Israeli soldiers were killed in ambushes and by booby traps in the first weeks of the fighting. Then the Israelis improved their tactics. They got into the tunnels with dogs and robots. They killed thousands of Hamas soldiers.
The next step for Israel should have been to continue the war until the killed or captured all of the Hamas soldiers. They needed to do to Hamas what America had done to Germany and Japan during World War 2. Israel needed to “de-Hamas” Gaza the way America “de-Nazified” Germany and transrformed Japan.
However, Israel did not do that. It let the war drag on without moving to victory. After making dozens of empty threats, Israel made no effort to take the Hamas strongholds until the summer of 2025, more than 18 months later.
By that time, Hamas prepared its defenses and mobilized world opinion. Instead of seeing videos of Israeli soldiers attacking and killing and capturing Hamas gunmen, it saw videos of Israelis blocking food to Gaza civilians and blowing up empty apartment buildings.
Israel lost the psychological war in Gaza the way America lost the psychological war in Vietnam.
If the war ends according to the Trump plan, Hamas will remain in full control of Gaza. Hamas has made it clear that it will murder any Arab who promotes peace with Israel in any way.
The only question now is whether Israel can survive its next war with Hamas.
