A Renewable Energy Opportunity

A key assumption of climate activists is the sometime available wind and solar energy can easily and economically replace reliable fossil fuels. This is the opportunity to prove that assumption.

  • The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission should provide the fossil fuel backup power specification including power requirements, cost, contract life, reliability, allowable pollution and other relevant factors.
  • The renewable energy advocates should use this specification to propose the method of using wind and solar to provide the backup electricity.
  • A comparison of the fossil fuel and renewable generation methods can easily be made then.
