College Riots. Same goals, same playbook as 1968. At that time, non-Communist South Vietnam was on the verge of defeating an invasion by Communist North Vietnam. This was in spite of poor military leadership by U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and General William Westmoreland. However, Communist regimes in Russia and Cuba financed and organized student riots throughout the United States and Western Europe. By 1970, these undermined opposition to Communist regimes throughout the world. In 1971, Democrats in Congress stopped most military funding for South Vietnam. Its army collapsed a few years later.
Today, Israel is on the verge of defeating Hamas. Hamas does not want an independent “Palestinian” state. It had one since 2005! It is part of a violent and intolerant Wahhabi/Salafi “Muslim Brotherhood” dedicated to worldwide Jihad against all Jews, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists. ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, Al Qaida, and the Taliban are part of the same movement.
Since the 1920 Congress in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Communist regime in Russia has given these Jihadi groups money, weapons, and training. That 1920 Congress was featured in the 1980 movie Reds starring Warren Beatty and Diane Keating. For more than a hundred years, both Communists and Jihadis had a common interest in the British and French Empires, and the United States.
Today’s college riots are organized and funded by trained professionals. They are using the same methods and tactics in the 1960’s. They are also the same methods and tactics perfected by Communist leader Vladimir Lenin in Russia in 1905 and 1917. They include making lists of mostly reasonable demands that include a handful of unreasonable demands that can never be agreed to. They also include shutting down the college for all students until all of those demands are met. They deliberately want police to be brought in and for students to be arrested or injured. Then they can claim to be innocent victims of an evil regime.

Conservative, establishment media leading us into dead end.
When Rush Limbaugh was alive, conservative media made conservatives smarter and more effective. He provided important facts and applied critical thinking to expose leftis propaganda. However, Rush Limbaugh was also “the Mayor of Realville”. He did not hesitate to criticize Republicans when they were ineffective, counterproductive, or out of touch with reality. Before Rush Limbaugh, we had “shock jocks”. They would attack people and make outrageous statements to deliberately provoke arguments and angry phone calls. They thought this attracted bigger audiences and made more money. Rush proved that they were wrong.
Without Rush, Conservatives Media like Tucker Carlson. Candace Owens. and Fox News are becoming like the “shock jocks” before Rush. Last week, Tucker Carlson said President Truman was “evil” for dropping atomic bombs on Japan to quickly end World War II. Candace Owens talked of the injustice done to Nazi Germany during that war.

However, while traditional conservative media is losing its way, many “progressive” journalists on the left are waking up and becoming more conservative. They include Barry Weiss of The Free Press, who was forced to resign from the New York Times. They include Uri Berliner who was just fired by NPR. And they inclue Batya Ungar Sargon, who now is an editorial editor for Newsweek.
