Marco Polo Smigliani has dedicated his life to advocating for veterans and supporting their organizations. “I love veterans because they have made commitments that nobody else in America has”, he said. They are owed greater debt and gratitude than they receive.

Marine Corps veteran Marco Polo Smigliani received a Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War.  He was a crew member on the SS Columbia Eagle, the first American Ship to be hijacked in 150 years.
