Three Ways To Help Liberty And Prosperity This Giving Tuesday

Above Image:  21 Year Old Benjamin Franklin Forms The Junto (Leather Apron) Club in Philadelphia in 1727. It proved that ordinary Americans did extraordinary things when they had open and honest conversations and learned from each other. This is why we have breakfast discussions every Saturday at Sal’s in Somers Point, NJ before making decisions.

Liberty And Prosperity 1776, Inc. of Somers Point, NJ has been recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charity since 2003.  Donations to us are tax deductible.  We can receive gifts from charitable trusts.

As a tax-exempt charity, we cannot take sides in elections to support or oppose any candidate. However, we do explain which issues are important, and where candidates stand on them.

We identify the most important issues at open breakfast discussions every Saturday morning. We then discuss and suggest solutions. We apply common sense (“Yankee ingenuity”), Judeo-Christian values, and American principles of liberty and limited constitutional government.  This American tradition began when Benjamin Franklin formed the Junto (Leather Apron) Club in Philadelphia in 1727.  High priced consultants today use “focus groups” to do what we do on our own.

When we reach a consensus, we share our views with as many people as we can. We send emails like this. We post our views on our LibertyAndProsperity.com website, Facebook, and Twitter. We sponsor radio programs on WOND 1400AM, WPGTalkRadio 95.5FM and WVLT 92.1FM in South Jersey.  We print and distribute postcards and sponsor special events and projects.

Every July 4, we remind people of the “self-evident” truths that created America. Every September 4, we remember local hero Richard Somers and explain how and why he fought and died that day during America’s first war against Islamic aggression in 804.  We sponsor seminars and advise ordinary citizens on how to be effective and winning candidates for public office.

This year, we supplied information that helped many community leaders and groups raise awareness and opposition to ocean wind turbines. We also created our Teaching Calendar on South Jersey history.

We spend roughly $2,500 each month to do this. On Giving Tuesday, November 28, please help us in these three ways:

1. If you haven’t done so already, please make a financial contribution. Please become a $30 supporting member or make a tax-deductible gift of any amount. Please click this link to the “Donate” tab of our LibertyAndProsperity.com website.
