Philadelphia Has Almost Same Size, Population as Gaza. Imagine Gaza War In Philly.

Both Gaza and Philadelphia have an area of roughly 142 square miles. Gaza has roughly 2.2 million people. Half are less than 18 years old.  Gaza had 600,000 people in 2006 when Israel withdrew from the area. Philadelphia has 1.5 million people. It had 2.1 million people during its peak in 1950.

Imagine fighting war in Philadelphia if the enemy spent the last 20 years building hundreds of miles of tunnels that connect almost every house and business. Imagine that on October 7, 2023, 6,000 men from Philadelphia invaded New Jersey, murdered 1,200 people here, kidnapped 251 others, and then went back to Philadelphia.  What would you do?

What would you do if you are a soldier and a terrorist uses tunnels to attack you from behind and then run back to his house?  Would you attack him there right away knowing you would kill or injure members of his family. Would you approach his house quietly?  Hundreds of Israeli soldiers were killed from ambushes and booby traps trying to do that at the beginning of the war. Would you let him go, so he could kill again?  Would you try to wait him out and try to kill him later when he leaves to get food or more ammunition. If you do that, you would be accused of killing an “unarmed civilian”. What would you do?

Comparing Gaza to Philadelphia also explains why the war is taking so long. It took months of hard fighting for Israel to take control of the Gaza equivalent of North Philly, Kensington, and South Philly.  Now, Hamas is holding out in Center City. Israel is now being asked to make a “cease fire” that would force it to give North Philly, Kensington and South Philly back to Hamas.

There is now a very real possibility that the same Wahhabi, Salafie Muslim Brotherhoods who run Hamas in Gaza will control parts of big cities in America. Americans need to pay attention to what is happening in Israel and Gaza.
