Democrats altered a recording of Jack answering a question about a sales tax in Tennessee at a “town hall” meeting last June. It had nothing to do with New Jersey! For weeks, Democrat Mike Sherrill lied about it.
Now a fake “Independent” newspaper is being mailed to every voter in New Jersey. This fake newspaper was published by the “American Independent Foundation” in Washington, D.C. It is a far-left group run by David Brock, founder of “Media Matters”. Its previous names were “Blue Nation Review” and “Shareblue”.
In the past it was funded by the far-left “American Bridge 21st Century Foundation”. Today, Wikipedia reports that “The American Independent does not disclose its donors.”
This “newspaper” is fake. It is only mailed to voters just before elections. It always praised “progressive” Democrats. It always bashes Republican. It is obviously campaign propaganda. However, it pretends to be a tax-exempt charity that runs a newspaper. By doing this, it claims it does not have to comply with campaign finance laws. That is why we have no idea who is paying for this “newspaper” or how much they are paying.

Truth #2. Mikie Sherrill is a lawyer. She knows the Governor can’t “freeze electric rates” by claiming an “emergency” when there is none. No judge would call Gov. Murphy’s 8 year program that shut down 6 power plants an “emergency”. That is why NJ is now buying half our electricity from very expensive power plants out of state. Truth #3. Mikie Sherrill was never a real “prosecutor”. She was an “outreach and re-entry coordinator” for most of her time at the U.S. Attorney’s office in Newark. Her job was to get counseling, housing and jobs for criminals when they got out of prison. She was made a prosecutor during her last year, but did very little prosecuting. She was given 34 minor “possession of marijuana on federal property” cases to plea bargain. Almost all ended with dismissals, fines or probation. She then quit to pursue a career in “criminal justice reform” without trying a real case. She then became a candidate for Congress in 2017. She was given $2.7 million in campaign funds to win the Democratic Primary Election in 2018.
Truth #4. Mikie Sherrill has no plan to cut property taxes. NJ property taxes are high for two main reasons. First, the NJEA Teachers Union make NJ public schools among the most expensive in the nation. Second, New Jersey has an income tax that is supposed to give property tax relief to all property owners. However, for the past 40 years, Democratic Governors like McGreevey, Corzine and Murphy have given almost all of that money to a handful of corrupt, wasteful and mismanaged Democratic run cities. That is why real estate taxes in well-run Republican suburbs are so high. Mikie Sherrill has the full support of the “woke” NJEA Teachers’ Union and the Democratic mayors and council members who run NJ’s worst run cities.

- Is an experienced accountant who has managed many successful businesses.
- Has a workable plan to cut electric rates by reopening, rebuilding and replacing the power plants Governor Murphy shut down.
- Has promised to address crime by keeping criminals in prison and ending Murphy’s “sanctuary” protection of illegals.
- Has stood up to the NJEA Teachers Union and supported plans to distribute the Property Tax Relief Fund fairly to all taxpayers as originally intended in 1976.
