Jewish? Conservative? Vote For Conservatives In Online World Zionist Elections Before May 4! Not Jewish? Stop Your Charities From Going “Woke”.

Note: This post pertains to an online election for a Jewish organization. Only Jewish Americans can participate. However, similar elections determine who runs dozens of church and community organizations for other faiths. Leftist now run many of them. They include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Women’s Sports, and Catholic Charities. They took control even though they were a small minority of the membership.

The World Zionist Congress is probably the largest and most influential Jewish organization in the world. It was founded by Theodore Herzl in 1897 and was responsible for establishing the State of Israel. It is run by 525 delegates elected to five-year terms.  One third, or 175 delegates are elected by Jews in the United States.

Online elections to choose those delegates are taking place until May 4. Every Jew over the age of 18 who lives in the United States can register and vote. There is a $5 registration fee that pays the cost of the election. Each voter must also agree that Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish majority nation.

There are 22 slates of candidates. As in Israel, you vote for slates, not individual candidates. The percentage of seats in the Congress is determined by the percentage of votes each slate gets.

Several slates are run by hard-core anti-Israel, anti-American leftists. Others are clueless to the danger of the far left and radical Islam.

I am a candidate with the ZOA Coalition Slate #15. It is led by Mort Klein of the Zionist Organization of America. It is a solid pro-America, pro-Israel conservative organization. I personally believe it is the best choice for conservative Jewish Americans.

The slates run by the left are better organized. They have more money and training.  However, we can win if enough Jews who support traditional American and Jewish common sense family values pay attention and vote.

If you are qualified, please click this link to pay your $5 and register to vote.

Last Thursday’s ceremony in Atlantic Count, NJ for Holocaust Remembrance Day showed why Jewish conservatives need a bigger voice in our community organizations. The ceremony was put together by roughly a dozen local Jewish community organizations.

Parts of that ceremony were inspiring and uplifting. However, other parts were disappointing. Some were disturbing.

The featured speaker was inspiring and uplifting. He was Michael Bar-Zohar, a Holocaust survivor from Bulgaria. He explained how almost all of Bulgaria’s 50,000 Jews were saved from extermination when King Boris III, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, and top fascist leaders in Parliament all stood up to the Germans.

Michael Bar-Zohar gave a very similar presentation at the American University in Bulgaria twelve years ago. This story may be forgotten because its heroes were not politically correct.

While the speaker was inspiring, the lack of participation and attendance by young people was disappointing. Except for a handful of grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Holocaust survivors who participated in the ceremony, hardly anyone below the age of 60 was present.

There were no students from Stockton University, Atlantic Cape Community College. There were no students from any high school in the county or any elementary school.

There narrative was also disturbing. There was a total failure to recognize the role of leftist and socialist politics and Islamic extremism as the main cause of antisemitism today. Speakers blamed antisemitism on “hate” . However, they made no effort to explain what was causing it or where it was coming from.

It was also disturbing that no mention was made against the atrocities recently committed against people of other faiths.  No mention was made against the systematic killing of Christians in Africa or Hindus in Bangladesh. No mention was made of the 26 non-Muslim men who were specifically identified, targeted and murdered for their religion last Tuesday by Muslims in a vacation resort in Kashmir.

It is important for Jewish American conservatives to win seats in the World Zionist Congress elections we can have more influence on events like this in the future. It is important for Americans of other faiths to get involved in their church and community organizations so they are not hijacked by the left.
