Cathy Panico, Liz Nicoletti, and Robin Shaffer live in Ocean City, New Jersey and have children in the public schools there. For years, they were frustrated with new “progressive” curriculum and “student learning standards” (SLS) that used fake history and fake science to indoctrinate students. This year, like many parents, they were shocked and outraged when the Ocean City Board of Education adopted new statewide “student learning standards” designed to sexualize young children and normalize abnormal and often dangerous sexual behavior for teenagers.

At first, Cathy Panico, Liz Nicoletti, and Robin Shaffer privately spoke to their children’s teachers to try to fix these problems. Then they privately spoke to their principals and administrators. Then they spoke out at Board of Education meetings. Last year, Cathy Panico and Robin Shaffer each became candidates for the Ocean City Board of Education. Each campaigned alone. Last November, both were narrowly defeated.
Last year Cathy Panico and Robin Shaffer both attended meetings of LibertyAndProsperity.com. Later both became members. Now, Panico, Nicoletti, and Shaffer are running together as a team for three seats on the Ocean City Board of Election. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8. However, various forms of early and mail-in voting are already underway.
There first campaign event is tonight, Friday, October 7, from 7pm to 9pm at the Map Room of the Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, NJ.

I carefully read the document referred to in the link posted by Fred McDonald. It seems that 11 years ago, Robin Shaffer did what most capable, dedicated, professional men would have done in the same situation. Mr. Shaffer, then a vice-principal, was called to the student health room when an out of control, violent male student in an elementary school had physically attacked the school nurse. This was after that same male student had previously attacked an injured a female school employee. It seems that Mr. Shaffer physically restrained the young man, and spoke to him sternly, as a good father would have talked to that young man if that young man had a good father in his home. In my opinion, Mr. Shaffer should have been commended for this. However, in the “woke” world of today’s public schools, he got a “letter of warning” in his file instead. I don’t pretend to be a child psychology expert. However, I think the epidemic of violent, out-of-control teenage and boy-men in their 20’s who become mass shooters is caused by too much use of mood-altering drugs by education and child psychology “experts” and too little common sense, old fashioned, but controlled and purposeful discipline by a strong father (or father figure in school). I also don’t like the idea of political insiders digging up and throwing dirt at any outsider who gets active in Board of Education meetings or elections and threatens their power. I am posting this comment as an individual only, and not on behalf of LibertyAndProsperity.com
I think it’s pretty gross to say that locking a special needs child in a room with an adult is ok. Several witnesses said it wasn’t. Why gloss over it now?
If you want conservatives- find one that is a good human. Not one that terrorizes a child.
Some might say that a big bully who twice physically attacked and injured female adult public school employees needs that kind of discipline if there is no father at home to do it.
