Richard Somers, the hero of Somers Point died fighting Arab terrorists on September 4, 1804, when Thomas Jefferson was President.??? The ceremony will be at Somers Point City Hall at New Jersey Avenue and Shore Road.??? Admission is free.?? Our annual fundraising buffet will immediately follow at 12 noon at nearby Gregory?s Restaurant and Bar.?? Tickets are $25 per person, $30 per couple.???
