Smart Meters Are About Control–And Managing Power Failures From Unstable Ocean Wind Turbines

Above Image:  Atlantic City Electric Installs New “Smart Meter” At Somers Point Office of Liberty And Prosperity. It will allow the Electric Company to instantly cut down or shut off power to our office from a central location whenever it wants.  In Communist China, this is routinely done to anyone suspected of being a threat to the government.  In New Jersey, “smart meters” will be first be used to cut off power whenever there is a shortage, or regulate what hours cars can be charged or heaters, washing machines, drivers, ovens or appliances or air conditioners can be run.  That is because wind turbines, unlike nuclear or natural gas, only generate electricity when the wind is blowing at certan speeds, and can slow down or stop at any moment.  That can crash the grid unless the Electric Company can instantly cut off power to large numbers of homes and businesses.

Atlantic City Electric claims there is no “upfront cost” for the new meters.  That is true.  We will pay for them with rate increases for several years. The Electric Company claims its new “Smart Meters” are an “upgrade”.  That is a lie.  The Electric Company will use them to control when you can charge your electric car and run your washing machine, dryer, heaters, air conditioners and oven.  It will control when or if you can charge your electric car.  It will also use them to manage the massive blackouts and power failures we can expect with unpredictable, unreliable, intermittent and unstable “green” electricity from wind and solar.
