The power to shape the future lies with you in the upcoming election

I attended a recent presentation by Shawn Hyland from the NJ Family Policy Center, which focused on School Boards, pro-life issues, and the upcoming gubernatorial election in New Jersey. While much of the information was already familiar, it is crucial for parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens in New Jersey to comprehend the situation and collaborate effectively to achieve success.

  • We cannot alter the current trajectory of this State without electing a Republican Governor. Regardless of personal preferences regarding candidates in the June primary, it is crucial to recognize that any Republican nominee will be significantly preferable to a Democratic Governor, who will continue to pursue the agenda of the Democratic Party. Therefore, it is essential for everyone to participate in the voting process this primary election on June 10th and in November for the future Governor. In order to eradicate Bill 5756 and seek the restoration of our Parental Rights, a Republican Governor is necessary. Additionally, if we wish to safeguard pregnancy crisis centers and prevent state overreach in New Jersey schools, we must elect a Republican Governor.

Examine California, and you will clearly see the direction in which Governor Phil Murphy is leading this state. We, the citizens, must not permit another election to fall under this extreme and progressive agenda!

Take a look at Colorado and the Bills they just passed.  We all know under Gov Murphy all of this could happen even in the lame duck session especially if he has aspirations of running for President.   https://catholicvote.org/colorado-house-advances-abortion-bills-transgender-bill-attacking-parental-rights/

The statistics from the 2017 and 2021 primaries are concerning. Out of a population of 9.5 million in New Jersey, only 243,643 individuals cast their votes for the Democratic candidate, while 167,690 supported the Republican contender in the last primary election. This situation must be addressed, as it means that fewer than 12 percent of New Jersey residents are determining our future. The responsibility for this lies with us.

  • Another thing I learned at this presentation is there is a Bill in Trenton, Bill #S1628 Session 2024-2025.  See link:  NJ Legislature  A short overview is: If two parents are having a custody battle over a child, if one parent is connected to NJ and wants the child transitioned, our state courts will award them with full custody of the child, overruling any other state court decision from a previous ruling. Just one of the many bills that are outrageous and out of touch with most Americans.

This is merely one piece of legislation among many, and regrettably, it appears that many individuals are unaware of the consequences of our inaction on the future of our children and families. I have spent countless nights in prayer, seeking guidance from God on when people will take a more active role in advocating for our children, families, and future. While I understand that God only requires one person to make a difference, He has also entrusted each of us with significant gifts, which come with immense responsibility. Freedom is not without cost. We have grown complacent and overly relaxed in our mindset, lacking the necessary fear—not of man, but of God. The fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. I empathize with those who feel uncertain about how to vote; however, it is imperative that we engage in the process. Corruption seems rampant, particularly in states like New Jersey. Do any of our leaders, including those from the Republican Party, possess a genuine fear of God? Will they cease funding Planned Parenthood, put an end to bill 5756, and address the issues surrounding transgender policies in our schools? Will they rise to a higher calling and prioritize our best interests? Will they seek divine assistance? I am praying for God to place a leader in office who will advocate for life, support families, and honor God—a leader who will cherish what God cherishes and detest what God detests. The shedding of innocent blood is an abomination to God. Have we strayed so far from Him that hope is lost? Fortunately, for us, Jesus will never leave us or forsake us, he waits for our return to him. We must remember our first Love!

Together the Church and those God calls will and can transform this State!  Love your neighbor and let’s make NJ a better place! Your Voice matters! Your actions matter!  Your Vote matters! But most of all Your Prayers matter! Do you not agree it is time to say what needs to be said and stand for the only God that will save this Nation? I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ Jesus!
