“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.” Thomas Paine

Our yearly Washington/Lincoln Fundraising Brunch is quickly approaching.  It will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 5 at Sal’s Café in Somers Point. Tickets are $100. However, tickets paid for by the end of this month, that is by January 31, are discounted to $80.

Congressman Jeff Van Drew will be our guest speaker and invited guest. He is not soliciting funds. All proceeds will go to LibertyAndProsperity.com.  This event pays roughly two thirds of our activities for the year.

Although most of us disagreed with our Congressman on the infrastructure bill, most of us agree with his votes and positions on almost everything else–since he stood up to “woke” Democrats and switched parties! Also, Van Drew has respected our organization and supported our events for many years. Besides speaking to us and answering questions, Congressman Van Drew will stay for one-on-one conversations.

We depend on your support.  Although we fully qualify as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt education organization, no government agency or corporation awards us grants or sponsorships. They know they would be viciously attacked and “cancelled” by the radical and intolerant left if they did.

Your $30 dues and extra donations for events like this kept us around and active since 2003.  You pay for our LibertyAndProsperity.com website plus the office and sign in Somers Point.  You buy radio time for pre-recorded messages and also live interviews Saturday mornings on 95.5 WPG and Thursday afternoons on WOND 1400.

You pay for 4,200 bulk emails each week and almost daily posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Gab.com.  You pay for printing and mailing thousands of postcards on important issues like the enclosed card about Yuri Bezmenov.

We are unique in that we do our best to use real, small-town events to teach big national principles and issues.

We use the remarkable story of Richard Somers, of Somers Point, to explain how America fought and defeated Islamic terror in 1804.

We explain Critical Race Theory and the systematic indoctrination of our children taking place at Stockton University and local high schools.

We use local examples of how reckless government borrowing damages the economy with high taxes, inflation and deflation. They include using New Jersey government employee pension funds to “invest” in the failed Revel Casino in Atlantic City. And the Atlantic County Improvement Authority borrowing $97 million to build a privately owned water park–next to the big water park known as the Atlantic City beach and ocean!

Finally, we joined the lawsuit to enforce our State Constitution and end unconstitutional tax breaks for Atlantic City’s casinos paid for by everyone else. Our goal is to teach the importance of federal and state Constitutions that limit the power of government officials and force them to treat each citizen equally.

We learn about these local events and the big issues behind them through open breakfast discussions every Saturday in Somers Point. We got the idea from Benjamin Franklin who set up similar discussions three hundred years ago.  Franklin then observed, “When different opinions collide, sparks of truth are struck out, and political light is obtained”.

Thank you again for whatever help you can give.  We do not use professional fundraisers.  Every dollar you give supports our mission. Please contact me for questions and details.  Again, we are recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt education organization.  All donations to us are confidential and tax-exempt.

Thank you again for your support.
