Before I begin “This post represents the personal views of Ethel Hermenau. They have not been reviewed or approved by the organization and may or may not represent the views of most members of Liberty and Prosperity 1776, Inc.”
Today is June 10th, 2025. It is a significant day to select the Governor we wish to support in the upcoming November Election. Most of us are quite occupied, and I, too, have work commitments; however, I recognize the importance of this day and its implications for the future of New Jersey. Many individuals grow weary of the political climate and choose to relocate. Nevertheless, those of us who reside here truly cherish our State, and we have numerous friends and family members that influence our decision to remain. More importantly, we all possess the God-Given Right to Vote! To advocate for our beliefs and the reasons behind them.
I attended the Lincoln Breakfast on Saturday, June 7th, 2025. A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Tony Coppola for hosting it at the Smithville Inn, as well as to the hosts Don and Michelle Purdy and the Galloway Republican Club. They recognized two outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to our organization. Councilman RJ Amato was awarded the title of 2025 Republican of the Year, while John Forsythe received the Ride or Die award. We express our gratitude to both for their hard work and commitment to our community. Congratulations! Following Atlantic County Republicans, Jack Ciattarelli attended to deliver a speech and Jack is the endorsed candidate running for Governor of New Jersey of President Donald J. Trump. It was received very well. Congressman Van Drew could not attend due to a scheduling conflict.
Regrettably, while this wonderful event was taking place, a group of protestors gathered outside with signs. I approached some of them to engage in conversation, and I have included several pictures.

I successfully persuaded the Galloway School Board to hold a vote on the repeal of 5756. However, it took a Councilman Thomas Bassford, who fortuitously happened to be present, that reminded the School Board that if Ethel Hermenau made a motion and another individual, Ginny Larrea, wished to second it, they should proceed to vote. They attempted to dismiss the matter on several occasions. I express my gratitude to God that Tom was there that evening and took the opportunity to speak during the comments section (which is always at the end). Therefore, I requested to “repeal the 5756 policy that infringes upon parental rights.” Unfortunately, only Ginny Larrea and I supported the repeal; the other members of the School Board voted against it, choosing to uphold this shameful policy. It is crucial to highlight this today and keep it in mind when you vote in November. Safeguarding parental rights, it is essential to avoid electing a Democratic Governor in New Jersey. There are so many topics that only a Republican Governor will change “Sanctuary State” is just one more.
Kim was videoing me as I took pictures and spoke with other people.

You may investigate on your own and make your own determination.
New Jersey voters will be electing a new Governor. The current Governor, Phil Murphy, is term-limited and will not be able to seek re-election.
2025 is a pivotal year for New Jersey!
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. The only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it, and then hand it to them with the well fought lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same. And if you and I don’t do this, then you and I may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America when men were free. – 1961 Ronald Reagan
I do not represent the Galloway School Board or any other organization. I am stating my opinions as a Citizen of the United States and a Citizen of Galloway, NJ and as a grandmother and Mother, I honor God, Family and Country!

Powerful words. Grateful for your support of our Republicans and our town, County, State and Country.
We will win in November with people like you to work with us!
