Which Dog will Win?

My name is Ethel Hermenau, and I serve on the Galloway School Board; however, I am not speaking on behalf of the school board or Liberty and Prosperity. The views expressed here are solely my own as a mother, grandmother, and citizen.

Two years ago, I encountered a Board Member whose intellect and savvy nature impressed me. He is occasionally quiet and respectful, yet there is a disconcerting quality about him that stands out. He used to attend all my Events, diligently taking notes, as he is a prosecutor by profession. I was pleased by his presence, hoping he might share my perspective, but that was not the case. However, that is the essence of our individual freedoms.

The first time I met him, seated at the back of one of my Events, I greeted him and engaged in brief conversation before my speech. He shared a thought that has lingered in my mind: he expressed a deep fear of Dogma! I countered by suggesting that a greater concern should be the overreach of our government.

Yet, I must admit that I awoke yesterday with thoughts of this conversation, it seemed out of the blue, yet I know better, the holy spirit was prompting me to write and as I listened to what I was being shown by the Holy Spirit, I realized, he was on to something. But why now?  Unintentionally, he prompted me to reflect, read, and pray.

His evident disdain was directed towards Religious Dogma, a conclusion I reached based on other comments he made, though I will refrain from elaborating further. It is likely that some experience led him to distrust the religious leaders of our era. This sentiment is not uncommon among those who have faced negative experiences, or perhaps his profession as an attorney has shaped his perspective to be more factual and pragmatic. Nevertheless, there are numerous facts surrounding the birth and death of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus but that for some reason can be rationalized as a myth for most educated men and women.

Much like this Board Member who combats injustice, I have taken a stand against the injustices I perceive in the world.  We are polar opposites in our belief systems. Regardless of how we interpret our experiences and belief systems, we must possess the strength to look beyond them and dig deep to make a difference in this world while we have breath.

What is the Definition of Dogma?  Dog´ma   Pronunciation: dǒg´må 1. That which is regarded as an opinion; a tenet; a doctrine.
The vague and ambiguous dogmas of early antiquity.
– Whewell.  2. A formally articulated and authoritatively established doctrine; a clear, recognized, and authoritative tenet.  3. A doctrinal concept asserted without consideration for evidence or truth; an arbitrary statement.

When the term Dogma is mentioned, one immediately associates it with the Catholic Church, and I believe that is what he intended when he expressed it.  Dogma in the Catholic Church pertains to truths revealed by God that the Church has officially defined and declared as obligatory for the faithful.

However, every religion possesses Dogma, and the Christian Faith is regarded as the most significant in America. The Holy Trinity is a Dogma that is accepted by all Christians. Nevertheless, it is important to note that all religions have Dogma

America has great Religious Freedoms, and we can protect our Children under these Freedoms. Yet few parents understand their rights when it comes to their families.

The Nature of Dogma
Dogma has been fundamental to various facets of human society, spanning religious institutions to political ideologies. At its essence, dogma embodies a collection of principles or beliefs deemed absolutely true and beyond question. Grasping the nature of dogma necessitates exploring its philosophical foundations, its function as a source of authority, and the conflict it frequently engenders with personal belief (paraphrasing).

Dogma as a Source of Authority
Dogma frequently acts as a source of authority within communities, offering a common framework for understanding and interpreting the world. This authority can stem from diverse sources, including religious texts, ideological manifestos, or traditional customs. The authority of dogma can be both unifying and divisive, as it fosters a strong sense of communal identity while also setting the community apart from others who do not share the same beliefs. In numerous instances, dogma is employed to rationalize specific practices or policies within a community. For example, religious dogma may shape a community’s position on social issues such as abortion or same-sex marriage. The utilization of dogma as a source of authority

Dogma’s Impact on Social Justice and Activism

Dogma has historically been instrumental in influencing social justice movements and activism. Numerous social justice efforts have been propelled by dogmatic convictions regarding equality, justice, and human rights. For instance, the Civil Rights Movement in the United States was shaped by religious dogma that highlighted the significance of equality and justice for every individual. Instances of dogma influencing community reactions to social challenges include.

However, let’s discuss Political Dogma – Political dogma refers to a strict set of principles or beliefs maintained by a political faction as unquestionable truths, which are expected to be accepted without scrutiny. It entails unwavering loyalty to ideological doctrines (such as fascism, socialism, conservatism, racism, nationalism, and many others), frequently disregarding evidence, stifling open discussion, and fostering silence and disregarding evidence, stifling open discussions, and fostering an “us vs. them” mentality. Examples:

• Strict Policy Compliance: A politician who adheres rigidly to a party’s economic principles, such as advocating for austerity despite evidence indicating its detrimental effects on the current economy.
• Disregard for Debate: A political supporter dismissing arguments or evidence that contradict their party’s position on matters like gun control or climate change.
• Tribalism: Accepting all beliefs of a particular “camp” instead of developing personal viewpoints.
• Ideological Rigidity: Insisting that all members strictly follow foundational texts (e.g., in Socialism or Marxism) without permitting any interpretation.

The above illustrates a scenario that AI can readily providing bullet points, which appears satisfactory; however, it overlooks other arguments. For instance, the refusal to engage in debate: gun control and climate change are topics that are culturally acceptable to discuss what about abortion, transgender ideology or CRT “Critical race theory” even when you ask AI to help rewrite what you wrote it takes it out but why?  Is it a mistake i think not! (but who determines which issues are permissible to mention on platforms like Google)? If you think Politics is corrupt now and scary we haven’t seen anything yet.

The Future of AI in Government: Opportunities and Responsibilities ...

Politics has become such a contentious term that public trust in politicians has eroded; however, the underlying machine is the true issue. The internet only reveals what it is permitted to, much like a politician will only vote in alignment with party decisions, and who controls the party? Certainly not the populace. I want to say there are some good men and women trying to make a difference in New Jersey we have Congressman Van Drew and we really need to run to help him and others.

We also have an individual in the White House who creates significant impact and fulfills his promises, our President Donald Trump, and indeed, the public appreciates our current President. Although he has flaws, he has performed more humanitarian actions for the American people than our last three predecessors combined.

I also believe he may be our last genuine President before a dreadful dictator assumes power. Of course, that is merely my perspective, and as of today, I can still express it without fear of arrest, unlike individuals in Britain and England. They have become subservient to political dogma and the machinery operating behind the scenes, which is indeed intertwined with Islam and politics. All of this is being deliberately orchestrated.  Look at New York and Michigan and Chicago don’t think there is not a concerted effort to push for Islamic Law in this Country.  Be on Guard!

Then, naturally, we encounter the other Dogma of Education –

Educational dogma denotes a collection of principles, beliefs, or methodologies within the educational sphere regarded as absolute truths, frequently without scrutiny, skepticism, or critical analysis. It often appears as inflexible, unquestioned, or conventional perspectives concerning pedagogy, curriculum, and the essence of teaching.

5 Truths We Must Tell Our Kids in a World of Political Chaos and Madness

• The “Official Dogma” of Schooling: An unspoken set of assumptions accepted as true within educational systems, irrespective of evidence, such as the belief that specific, rigid methods of standardized testing are the sole means of assessing learning.
• Progressive vs. Traditional Ideologies: Dogma is present when a system (for instance, strict, teacher-led traditionalism or unrestricted, student-led progressivism) is treated as an absolute “truth” rather than a more adaptable approach.
• Scientific Dogmatism: The practice of teaching science merely as a collection of unchanging facts to be memorized, rather than as a process of inquiry and exploration.
• Institutional Tradition: The continuation of a particular teaching method or curriculum framework solely because “that is how it has always been done,” thereby resisting evidence-based changes.

Again, those bullet points were AI generated yet it is missing some very important issues such as State overreach that is now changing everything.  Curriculum is now infested with ideological dogma that they want you to accept. They want to ingrain into your children’s minds at a very young age and all i hear is silence coming from all the so-called protectors of children and parents.  I am sure some believe it, but many do not and many are just too afraid to act, worried about losing their jobs or worse indifferent.

As you know, I am a member of the Galloway school board. I have often expressed my concerns about the policies being voted on, fully recognizing that my vote carries minimal influence when those with titles like Drs., Attorneys, and CPAs simply support the state’s political agenda while claiming to prioritize the welfare of the children. This situation makes me feel nauseated, and I question how they can reconcile their actions with their conscience.

Please review Policy 5756 regarding transgender issues and share your thoughts as a parent, as it appears to infringe upon your rights. Are they truly supporting our children when there are 72 recognized genders? Do you, as an adult, understand what these genders entail and how they function? I would like to know your stance on Critical Race Theory “CRT”, Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying “HIB”, mental health counselors and suicide hotline to the State, Freedom to Read Act, and other related matters. Furthermore, consider them sending your child to a state camp where the State gives instruction on how to identify hate and bias within your community. There is no hate here; in essence, if you oppose the State’s agenda or the feelings of our children, you may be labeled a hater, and there could be potential civil repercussions in the future. I am merely summarizing.

Did you know NJ has removed Male and female genders from our kids’ education.

New Jersey Officially Removes Male, Female Genders From Public Education

It may seem unlikely that such events could occur in New Jersey, yet they are already unfolding. As long as you remain uninvolved because you have no dog in the fight, (no pun intended), why should you take an interest? Why should you care?

This is often the fate of declining societies, much like Rome. Historians point to various interconnected reasons for the fall of the Western Roman Empire, including economic failure and military loss. Below are the primary factors that contributed to Rome’s downfall. ROME: A NARRATIVE OF POWER, GLORY, AND TRAGEDY! is America next? Internally Rome was mess it fell apart due to corruption, mobs and political discourse to name a few. It fell apart from within and then was attacked from outside entities.

The ascent and decline of the Roman Empire narrate a tale of authority, magnificence, and deterioration that continues to engage historians, scholars, and enthusiasts alike. The legacy of the Roman Empire persists through its architecture, literature, legal systems, and cultural impacts that have significantly influenced Western civilization. By examining the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, we can acquire essential understandings of the intricacies of power, governance, and human behavior that still resonate in our contemporary world today.

Numerous Dogmas exist, and the intertwining of the political and educational systems (NJEA and Planned Parenthood) is evolving into a shared entity. Ultimately, the introduction of Islamic teachings in schools may serve as a catalyst, similar to its role in our universities, fostering increased animosity and disdain towards anything American. The very foundations of our nation will be shaken to the core.

For the baby boomer generation, this entire transformation unfolding before us, may feel akin to a surreal experience; indeed, many refrain from engaging with these changes because they refuse to acknowledge them. They deceive themselves into believing that everything is satisfactory, while in reality, it resembles a quiet march towards the demise of America as we recognize it. Most will remain indifferent until it becomes critical, and then what will happen? I dare say what I am thinking it is just too horrible a fate.

Do I appear irrational to you? Am I exaggerating my claims? Inquire with Britain and England about how their situation began. Ask the citizens of Iran how their troubles commenced when they were once a free nation, and women enjoyed rights. Question Nigeria as to why no assistance is rendered while Christians are being slaughtered daily. Indeed, we cannot pose these questions because those who do often face imprisonment or death for their beliefs cannot speak. They have been silenced into submission as we are being right before your eyes and we will fight one day when it costs us everything.

But wait, could such a fate ever befall us in America, where we are supposedly free? Or are we truly free? The political and educational systems may very well be the final blow to justice and truth and if you live in NJ and aren’t running for a seat—whether school board, assembly member, senator, etc.—this is the time to consider it.

The initial recommendation I propose is for all of us to repent for the grievous sins committed in this Nation and engage in prayer. Additionally, we should reflect on the individuals we aspire to become in order to withstand the challenges that lie ahead.

In order to be in God’s disciple, we must always choose the Greater Good, but we must be willing to lay down our lives for our Freedoms like the Quakers did in order to help in the Civil War. It became a war of Conscience.

Unless Americans take more decisive action, we risk becoming the next Rome. This is the time to reflect on great men and women that lead the way during the darkest times in history to become the greatest victories.
