Seth Grossman WPG Radio 2.14.26: Bad Bunny Superbowl. Viewers Had Choices. Freeze All New Immigration Until Illegals Are Gone. Advice for Christian Club at Atlantic Cape Community College. Costly March 10 Referendum for New $36 Million Egg Harbor Twp School Debt Is Wrong.

Every Saturday morning at 9:10AM, John DeMasi interviews Seth Grossman of LibertyAndProsperity.com on WPGTalkRadio.com online and 1450AM heard in the beach towns of South Jersey and 95.5FM radio heard in most of South Jersey.

Political and Cultural Commentary

Grossman provides a critique of several recent events, framed through the lens of individual liberty:

  • Alternative Super Bowl Shows: Grossman highlights the success of “Turning Point” alternate entertainment on YouTube and “Puppy Bowl” on Animal Planet give giving people a choice to avoid the “woke” Bad Bunny Superbowl halftime show promoted by National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell.

  • Trump and Elon Musk restored choice and freedom to social and broadcast media. People often have more power making economic choices than by voting.
  • Support Liberty and Prosperity $75 Fundraiser on Sunday, February 15. Pay $30 2026 dues or donate any amount. Our organization can deliver accurate, truthful messages about the issues that matter most because we are funded by private individuals rather than government grants or corporate sponsors.  More “successful” organizations including mainstream media cannot do this because their corporate donors or sponsors depend on government permits, approvals, contract or financing to make their enormous profits.

  • Many Liberty and Prosperity members are “Boomers” who have gained valuable knowledge and insight over the years.

  • Immigration: Any amnesty or leniency for “best of the best” illegal immigrants must be limited to the limit or quota of not more than of 100,000 legal immigrants per year, that we had before 1965.

  • Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC):  Grossman gives practical advice on how the Christian Club can get the same funding from Student Activities Fees as Gay Pride, Black Student Alliance and Asian Culture clubs. He also questions why Republicans with full control of Atlantic and Cape May County government choose trustees for the College who hire “woke” leftists to run it.

  • Coastal Regulations: He expresses concern over new state building regulations that increase costs for beachside residents and questions why Atlantic County leaders did not join Monmouth, Ocean and Cape May County governments to challenge them.
  • School Funding (Egg Harbor Township): Grossman explains why school boards fail to do routine repairs and maintenance and let school buildings run down.  They then borrow millions to rebuild them. Grossman explains why Egg Harbor Township school board is holding expensive special election on March 10 to seek permission to borrow $36 million. The School District could have put the issue on ballot last November at no cost to taxpayer.  It deliberately wants a low turnout.

EDITED AND CORRECTED PORTIONS OF FULL INTERVIEW:

Liberty is the best way to overcome problems like Roger Goodell, the NFL and the Bad Bunny Superbowl Show.

SETH GROSSMAN: Our organization often talks about this.  As long as you have freedom, and that includes economic freedom, you have economic power, and you can force the powerful to do what you want even more than by voting. Turning Point USA produced an alternate show that had about four or five million people watching it during halftime of the Superbowl, and about another 15 million afterwards.  And Goodell, the Commissioner of the National Football League did everything he could to stop that alternate show.
Roger Goodell was furious at Kid Rock and Turning Point for giving people a choice for the first time ever, and he  put a lot of pressure on performers. There were supposed to be a lot of other talent in the alternate, Turning Point show, but they were told their careers would be ruined. They would never find any other work, if they took part in it.

However, even with so-called second-string performers, my family watched it. My daughter, son-in-law, we watched it with the grandkids. They loved it. They were singing along. They identified with it. It was great family entertainment. And that’s going to have an impact because, this alternate show was done almost last minute with all these obstacles. And Goodell knows if he pulls this stunt with Bad Bunny again, the Turning Point event or other alternate events will even double. And that’s going to hurt them in the pocketbook where it counts. It’s going to hurt their ratings, their advertising, and their merchandise sales. That is why economic freedom is as important as voting and political freedom.
By the way, I noticed that about 15 million people watched the Puppy Bowl on the Animal Planet network that Sunday. That was their highest rating ever. So I think Goodell and those “woke” corporate executives got an important message. If you don’t offer people what they want, they will find a way to watch what they do want–if we don’t live in a dictatorship.
Now when Obama was President, we had a media dictatorship. For years, all of Facebook, all the Twitter, all the YouTube, all the media had to to promote a certain doctrine and and certain culture. And if you didn’t do it, then you lost the platform. You couldn’t reach anybody.
Thank God for Elon Musk and Trump for changing all that. So when people have choices, people make choices. That is good for everybody and that is why liberty is so important–both economic liberty and political liberty. So I saw, a silver lining there.
Remember when Goodell and the NFL and the media had absolute control? They trashed our National Anthem. He had Kaepernic and all those players kneeling instead of standing. Remember when the Houston Astros wanted to wear a symbol to honor the New Orleans Police Department?  The NFL wouldn’t let them. They only permitted Black Lives Matter symbols insulting police. That’s what they did when they had absolute power.
But I guarantee you next year, because of this experience, they’re going to behave a little bit better. So I was not at all discouraged by what happened last Sunday at the Superbowl.
JOHN DEMASI:  Before you talk about something else, I want you to promote your event tomorrow (Sunday, February 15).
SETH GROSSMAN:  Our group, Liberty and Prosperity.com depends on private donations. We don’t get funding from the government. Unlike many so-called successful charities, we don’t get corporate sponsors. When you think of it, those so-called private charities are really agencies of the government. Look who funds them. Who are their sponsors? Who are their donors? Bank of America? Big drug companies? Hospitals? The Gas Company? the Electric Company? Who are the biggest sponsors of the TV network news we watch?  All big corporations who depend on some monopoly, contract, financing, or other special deal from the government to get their big profits.
We don’t get any of that. We depend on individuals. Many politicians hold these fundraisers, you know, where they charge a $100 a ticket, $200 a ticket. And, obviously, the people who buy those tickets expect some favor or benefit in return. We offer absolutely nothing other than giving a point of view that tells the truth on issues where you really don’t get the truth anywhere else.
We have this one event every February. This year, it’s tomorrow, Sunday, February 15th. Republican Senator Michael Testa will be the featured speaker.  It will be at Josie Kelly’s Public House in Somers Point. There will be a nice lunch with a nice dessert. Tickets are $75.
Best way to donate is with the “Donate” tab on our website at LibertyAndProsperity.com. However, you can also mail or drop your check off at the office at, at 453 Shore Road in Somers Point. And, of course, you can always bring your check to any weekly breakfast discussion at Sal’s Coal Fired Pizza in Somers Point any Saturday morning.
However you help is fine, but we do need your support to stay on this radio program, to send our free weekly emails out, and to keep our website. We also need your help to do and promote our Richard Somers event every September 4 to remember America’s first war against Islamic terror when, Thomas Jefferson was President.
JOHN DIMASI:  A few weeks ago, when  was last here, you mentioned something about an immigration quota. And, it was a good idea. And Roscoe, one of our listeners, suggested, “Why don’t you and Seth present your idea to President Trump? Or perhaps to Congressman Van Drew?
SETH GROSSMAN:  The idea, of course, is that we have a freeze on all know immigration from outside the country, and that we use the existing immigration quota of 400,000 per year to the “best of the best” immigrants who have illegally been in this country for a very long time.  And also that we reduce that quota to what is to 100,000 per year, what it was before 1965.
However, we at Liberty and Prosperity work as a group. And last Saturday, while I was in Florida, a majority of the group said, no. They didn’t like my plan. They don’t want any kind of an amnesty.
Now I was pointing out that for several reasons, a majority of the American people have turned against all immigration enforcement. I was suggesting that if we don’t quickly find a way, to reach out to a lot of fair-minded independed voters who feel sympathy for illegals who have not broken the law and who have been in this country for more than ten years, we will end up with no immigration enforcement.
Rightly or wrongly, a lot of people feel that if we let people illegally live in our country for more than ten years without doing anything about it, we are as much to blame for it as the illegals. We have lots of precedents in the law for statutes of limitation.
However, our group is still talking this over and we need time.  However, we all agree on and that is, that when America was great, we had a limit of how many people, how many foreigners could legally come to this country each year. And until 1965, that number was 100,000 per year. And that limit worked.
I remember when I was a kid going to Richmond Avenue School in Atlantic City in the 1960s, we had one or two students in our classroom with 30 kids who were from another country. They didn’t speak any English. But within six months, they all learned English, and they all became more American than the rest of us.
So you just can’t have 400,000 people coming each year on top of all the illegals.  We need limits. So if we end up with some sort of leniency or amnesty for the best of the best who did not commit other crimes and who have been here more than ten years,  we still need limits of about 100,000 per year. And we must give priority to the people already here as opposed to bringing new people in. So we have to have more discussions. And once we do reach an agreement, that’ll be our first step to, have a little sit down with, Congressman Jeff VanDrew. He will tell us how to reach the president or how to reach the president’s advisers. He has a great working relationship with the President. And Liberty and Prosperity has a great, relationship with Congressman, Van Drew.
And this election is very important. We want to make sure that this controversy over immigration does not cause problems for Congressman Van Drew. So we have a lot of work to do.  But I think it is a very good idea, and we were already working on that.
A lot of what we do at Liberty and Prosperity is to talk about important issues no other group wants to deal with and to come up with workable solutions. Other groups don’t do that because they depend on corporate donations or government grants,
Another good thing about our group is that we have a good mix of Boomer and Generation X. About three quarters of our group are Boomers. We were teenagers when John F. Kennedy was President, and we were inspired by him. He was the President who said “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.” We loved America and we were inspired to make it better.
However, a lot of our generation got fooled in the 1960s who we now know were Communists who wanted to divide and destroy our country. They said that because America was not a perfect country, it was a bad country.
And so during the past 60 years, we changed and got rid of everything that made America great. And so we, the Boomers, the knowledge of what we did back then that worked and how we can make America work again, not by doing anything crazy or new, but by doing stuff that worked in America for three hundred years. A
young men like Jesse Kurtz and Brian Fitzherberts who are active leaders in our organizatio.
And so we Boomers are passing on our wisdom to them, these younger kids. We are not saying we’re smarter. We’re saying we tried a lot of stuff when we were young, and a lot of it some of the stuff worked, some of it didn’t. And we’re, you know, passing on the knowledge of what worked so they could do a better job than we did.
And a lot of the wisdom we pass on is practical advice. A good example is what is now going on at Atlantic Cape Community College. Even though its Board is picked by solid Republican Commissioners in Cape May County and solid Republican Commissioners and a Republican County Executive in Atlantic County, the Board Members they picked to run that college hired a super left-wing, hate America President to run that college.
So Atlantic Cape Community College makes students pay a “Student Activity Fee” on top of tuition. And the College gives that money to a bunch of student clubs. The college gives money to a Gay Pride Club, a Black Student Alliance Club and an Asian Students Culture Club.  And a bunch of Christian students also formed a Christian Studies club. And they said, we want some of our Student Activity fees to fund our Christian studies club.
And Atlantic Cape Community College said “No.”  We don’t give money to any religious clubs.  Now the organizers of that Christian Club didn’t go to us for advice.  They went to a national group called the the Alliance Defending Freedom. And that national group is threatening to sue the College.
And this is a perfect example of how Liberty and Prosperity can help a group like this. We can say, let’s think this through. If you spend all this money on a lawsuit to force the college to spend money on religious clubs, you’re going to end up with a Muslim club getting a whole lot of money from the college.  Is that really what you want?
And you can form a club to do everything you want to do by simply calling it an American Heritage Club or a South Jersey History Club.  That is because when you study American History and especially New Jersey History, you learn that our first settlers were Quakers, Presbyterians, Baptists and Methodists who used Christian values and Bible teachings to run the country. So you can discuss and study those religious things without calling yourself a religious club. You would then be able to get your full funding without spending a nickel on lawyers or lawsuits.
And you can also use politics. Instead of hiring lawyers and suing people, you can go the Atlantic County Commissioners and the Cape May County Commissioners and demand that they pick trustees who will not fully fund “woke” student groups while shutting out traditional American groups.
This is an example of the practical advice that comes out of the breakfast discussions we have every Saturday morning in Somers Point.
Here’s another example. Before Governor Murphy left office, he issued regulations that are devastating to anyone who lives near the beach. You you can’t get a building permit to do anything without spending a fortune in fees and needless work. Every major repair and improvement to your property will be extremely expensive if you can do it at all.  Right now, Cape May County, Ocean County, and Monmouth County are filing challenges to those outrageous rules. However, Atlantic County is not part of it. Where are the Republican leaders of Atlanta County? How come they’re not joining into this? I hope you will ask Denny Levinson about this when he is your guest later today. These are some of the things we do and talk about every Saturday morning at Liberty and Prosperity.
And here’s my final issue for today. Everyone talks about affordability. Housing is expensive and rent is expensive for a lot of reasons. One of them is high property taxes. And most of our property taxes pay for public schools.
So why are public schools so expensive.  There are many reasons. We have enormous expenses for speciasl education for a handful of students. We force schools to high big union contractors for even minor repairs. We pay such high salaries for teachers and other positions in our public schools that we often get dozens of qualified applicants for every position that is open, and very often, only somebody with a friend on the inside gets hired.
So what happens when you spend all this money and nobody can afford the taxes. You find that there’s no money for repairs and maintenance and our school boards run their buildings into the ground.
And when that happens, the school boards ask voters to borrow enormous amount of money to rebuild everything. And that is happening right now in Egg Harbor Township.

I just saw a notice that Egg Harbor Township is having a special election on March 10 to vote to approve a $36 million loan from Wall Street to fix up its high school and other public school buildings.
Above Image:  Egg Harbor Township School Board Invites Parents and Teachers To “Town Hall” To Explain Why They Should Vote “Yes” on “Bond Referendum”. This Notice does not mention that the School Board wants permission to borrow $36 million for repairs and maintenance. It was not sent to other voters or property owners who will pay back that debt with interest and Wall Street “transaction fees” for next 20 years. It does not mention the March 10, 2026 date of the Special Election. It does not explain why the District is spending thousands of dollars for a special election, when it could have place the question on last November’s ballot at no cost to taxpayers.
And you know it is a bad deal because they are calling for a special election, which costs a whole lot of money. They could have had this issue on the ballot last November at absolutely no cost to the taxpayers. But most voters show up and vote in November, and the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education didn’t want that.
They are deliberately spending thousands of dollars on a special election because they know very few people will vote. That is their plan. They will use their emergency telephone system and emails and notes to parents to tell all parents and employees of the school to vote “yes” on the Question to borrow the $36 million. They know that most other voters won’t vote on March 10, and that a lot of voters won’t even know about the election.
So these are the things that we talk about that nobody else talks about. But we can’t get the word out on important issues like this if we don’t have enough money to be on the radio or have our website or  get our emails out.
That is why I hope everyone who is listening now will donate money to our fundraiser tomorrow or go online to pay the $30 dues or any donation possible at libertyandprosperity.com. Thank you very much.
