Typical “Mainstream” Media Day: 4 Of 7 Stories, All Five “Trending Now” Stories Negative for Trump, Positive for Biden & Democrats

Anyone who uses Microsoft Edge for their browser sees this panel of roughly eight “top” news stories taken from the mainstream media.  This is the panel that popped up for the afternoon of Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Of the seven lead stories, four were anti-Trump or pro-Biden/Democrats.  This is fairly consistent with how Microsoft MSN had been presenting the news during the past week.  There was not a single positive story about President Trump or Republican who supports him.  Not a single negative story about Biden or Kamala Harris.  It seems the only way a Republican can break into the “mainstream” news cycle is to do or say something that seems stupid, or attack Trump or other Republicans.

I learned years ago that there is only one way a Republican can be mentioned in a positive way by the mainstream media.  That is to fool the media into thinking you are saying something stupid, when you are in fact saying something that makes sense to most people.  However, it is risky.  It is like being the batter in baseball knowing that you will be out unless you hit a home run.   The problem is that when you try to hit for home runs, you also strike out more.

I believe that is why President Trump does his tweets.  He knows that if he is measured and reasonable, none of what he says will get reported.  His only hope is so say something that is a little outrageous so the media will report it, but which also brings up important facts or common sense not reported by the media, that will win support.

When I ran for Congress with little money or Republican Establishment support in 2018, I had to do much the same thing.  That is why I said “diversity” to hire and promote people is “a bunch of crap and un-American”.  I knew that the media would give me coverage on that because it sounded outrageous to them, but that I would pick up support because most voters agree. The only reason I didn’t do better is because the national NRCC and State NJGOP Republican leaders attacked me and repeated Democrat lies about me.  That changed the headlines to “Even Republicans call Grossman a racist”.

Back in 2016, the Mainstream Media was just as biased against Trump and Republicans as they are today.  However small groups of ordinary conservatives like us were able to use our personal Facebook, Twitter, and other social media to overcome and and overpower the those media giants.  Click here for August, 2017 article by the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, which explains how we did it.

First, during the past three years, the Mainstream Media and the people who run them have worked hard to make sure we don’t do it again.  First, they have taken their bias against Trump, Republicans and conservatives to a new level of evil.  Instead of reporting news in a biased way, they now completely fail to mention even major events that promote a conservative narrative, or embarrass Democrats.  They are identical to how George Orwell described English and Irish communist and socialist newspapers reporting the Spanish Civil War during the 1930’s.

“Early in life I had noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper, but in Spain, for the first time, I saw newspaper reports which did not bear any relation to the facts, not even the relationship which is implied in an ordinary lie. I saw great battles reported where there had been no fighting, and complete silence where hundreds of men had been killed. I saw troops who had fought bravely denounced as cowards and traitors, and others who had never seen a shot fired hailed as the heroes of imaginary victories, and I saw newspapers in London retailing these lies and eager intellectuals building emotional superstructures over events that had never happened. I saw, in fact, history being written not in terms of what happened but of what ought to have happened according to various ‘party lines’. . .”

This week, the mainstream media said about how five year old Cannon Dinnant was murdered by his 25 year old black neighbor for no reason other than being white.  It said nothing of how Black Lives Matters rioters in Chicago attacked and terrorized sick children and their parents at the Ronald McDonald House.  Click here for details.

I got the top message from Verizon when I went to pay my June, 2020 cell phone bill.  I got the message from Lyft when I needed a ride for the airport.  At least with Lyft, I was able to call a local cab.  Both I and the driver saved money.  Needless to say, all of the “community organizers” getting money for “Black Lives Matter” will be getting out the vote for the same Democrats who have been running black neighborhoods for the past 50 years and running them like third-world countries.

Second, they also bullied and bribed many large corporations into promoting the “woke”, “progressive, “social justice” and “Black Lives Matter” political messages of Democrats.  They use their corporate advertising and websites to win repeat Democrat biased hate-Republican, hate-Trump talking points on hot-button issues such fake “systemic” racism, climate change, and how to deal with the coronavirus.

Finally, they are shutting down and restricting conservative blog sites and private Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts to stop us from delivering conservative measures.  During the past year, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google banned, shadow-banned, “throttled-down” or otherwise restricted dozens of articulate and effective conservatives who used their platforms.  They include such well-known sites and personalities as Laura Loomer, Epoch Times, PragerU, Paul Joseph Watson, Milo Yiannopoulos, Katie Hopkins, Tommy Robinson, and Terrence K. Williams.  Our weekly audience or “reach” on Facebook was reduced from more than 40,000 a few months ago to about 5,000 today.

Here are some things you can help us do during the next three months in response:

  1.  We are asking you to help us get around Twitter and Facebook restrictions.  I and LibertyAndProsperity.com are restricted, but you are not.  We are therefore posting most of our stuff on our Blog Post and Guest Post Blog on our website, rather than Facebook and Twitter.   We put Facebook and Twitter icons on the bottom of each post.  Please visit our site several times each week and click those icons to share our posts as often as you can.
  2. Please also copy and past a paragraph from each article, and post it in the “comments” sections of the articles of each online newspaper you read.  This includes “micronewspapers” like the patch.
  3. Please copy and paste the web addresses (URL’s) of as many of our blog posts as you can.
  4. Please subscribe to our free email updates.  Then share those updates with your friends and family.  If you have trouble subscribing through our website, please email us at info@libertyandprosperity.com and we will add you to our list by hand.
  5. Sign up to GAB.com or Parler.com.  These are social media sites like Facebook or Twitter, but free of their “community standards” and censorship. Please contact us if you have any trouble signing up or using them.  Thanks!
