Twenty five years ago, a survey found that two thirds of Americans said that patriotism, religion, and having children were very important to them.
For nearly four hundred years those values defined America. That was when those values gave Americans more freedom, wealth, opportunity and justice than any other people in the world.
Last March, that same survey showed that only about one third of Americans still embraced those values.
For the past sixty years, our schools, colleges, media, Hollywood movies, and TV attacked and ridiculed every tradition that made America great.
Most members of Liberty and Prosperity, like me, are part of the aging “boomer” generation. We are the last Americans who remember the importance of those values, and the greatness of America.
